Opening day for the Rockport Farmers Market kicks off kn June 23rd, 2018 from 9 am-1 pm.
Local farmers will be in attendance showcasing plenty of fresh produce. Arrowhead Family Farm and Rockport's own Seaview Farm will be displaying logically raised meats, including bacon, sausage, and beef. Other market items consist of fresh break, jams, jellies, pickles, and fresh roasted coffee, along with specialty tea. The Market takes place at Harvey Park, in Rockport.
The "Rockport In Bloom" Garden Tour 2018 takes place on June 29th and June 30th.
Rockport Garden club annual garden tour features 11 private gardens, and offers at luncheon at the site.
On Wednesday, July 4th, Rockport celebrates Independence Day.
At 6 pm, Rockports Firemen's parade begins, followed by A Rockport Legion Band Concert at 8 pm, all leading up to the annual Rockport Bonfire at the Back Beach at 9 pm.
On July 20th, the Old Sloop Fair takes place at the First Congregation Church of Rockport.
Since 1957 The Old Sloop Fair has been a popular Rockport Summer event. Providing Boutique, White Elephants, Art Mart, Yard Sales, and Snack Bars, The Old Sloop Fair is a summer hit.
On Sunday, August 5th of 2018, the Rockport Acoustic Music Festival will take place at Millbrook Meadow.
For 3 decades this music festival has taken place in the park right across from the beach. The genres of music consist of acoustic rock, folk, world, blues, jazz, Celtic, and much more.
