Beginning on Friday June 23rd with the classic kick-off sunset cruise, and followed by a day full of activities on Saturday June 24th, Essex River day is one of the best parts of summer. Saturday consist of live music, cook outs, softball games, and more!
The 36th Annual Essex Clam Fest takes place on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at Memorial Park- 24 Martin Street.
The festival last from 11 am to 4 pm, with clam tasting beginning at noon and ending at 2 pm. The area restaurants will battle against each other to see who has the best clam chowder on Cape Ann!
